Mentoring in Nursing in Europe

The second year of the MINE (Mentoring in Nursing in Europe) project took place in Malta for the first 2 weeks in February. This is an Erasmus funded programme which is co-ordinated by Middlesex University. Staff and students from HSSc as well as a representative from the Whittington Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital were joined by colleagues from Malta, Finland, Italy and the Czech Republic to further develop resources for students and mentors in supporting students on exchanges. This was a very productive and successful 2 week programme and an application for funding for the third and final year has now been sought.
